Beauty and the Beast 3D is Coming {Giveaway}

If you follow me on Twitter, you’ve probably caught at least a few of my Disney-themed tweets. I feel as though I tweet about Disney movies a lot…probably because we watch them so often. Of all the Disney Princesses, I think I like Belle the best (Tiana is a close runner up). Not only is she intelligent, but she’s not one to fall over and cower when Beast shows his bad attitude.

As a family, we’ve watched Disney’s Beauty and the Beast countless times. Gaston’s hilarious song is one of the first songs that my daughter learned to sing. Coming in January, we will finally get our chance to watch Beauty dazzle on the big screen in 3D.

If you’re not familiar with Beauty and the Beast, you’re missing out. The film follows the journey of Belle, the prettiest girl in her village, who happens to be a lover of books, and therefore thought a little strange by her neighbours. (What would they think of me?) To save her father, Belle is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Belle soon becomes friends with the castle’s enchanted staff—a teapot, a candelabra and a mantel clock, among others. Eventually, she becomes friends with, and later falls in love with the Beast.

For parents who haven’t seen Beauty and the Beast, I will warn you that there is a couple of scary scenes that frightened both of my kids the first time they saw the film. However, my kids have moved well past being scared of Beauty and the Beast now, and both of them love it…yes even my five-year-old son.

Beauty and the Beast 3D will be in theatres starting January 13 for a limited theatrical engagement. Make sure you see it when you can!
