Beauty & the Beast 3D in Theatres Now: Plus Tangled Ever After Short Film

Share

Last week, I took the kids to see a sneak preview of the newly spiffed up Beauty and the Beast 3D. Since the three of us have probably watched Belle dance around in her lovely yellow dress at least twenty times or more, I wasn’t sure if the big screen would really wow. But it did. There’s just something that cannot compare to being fully immersed by the big screen and the spectacular sound that you get in a movie theatre. Everything is bigger, brighter, more romantic, and, when it came to those darn wolves, more scary in a proper cinema.

As I mentioned in my previous Beauty and the Beast post, both of my kids enjoy the film, even my son. In the case of this very limited release in 3D out today, January 13, I think everyone should see it, though you may want to read what I previously wrote about young kids and the scary bits.

One of my favourite trends in kids films at the theatre, is watching the special short films that some studios create to play before the feature presentation. The short film, Tangled Ever After, starring Rapunzel’s sidekicks Maximus the horse, and Pascal the chameleon, was hilarious! The entire audience was laughing. I loved it. Here’s just a wee clip for you. To see the whole thing, head to theatre!

Disclosure: I received tickets to attend the screening of Beauty and the Beast 3D from Walt Disney Studio Pictures. My opinions are my own.

My three kids all loved it – even my eight year old boy. Thanks SO much for the passes, they were much appreciated! And I have to say, the movie was great, but my favourite part was the Tangled short. Tangled is my favourite Disney film and the short was hilarious. Worth the price of admission alone!

Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney movie ever! How can you not love a smart brunette heroine!

  3. I totally agree with Nioole above. Belle is the best princess-role-model Disney has ever invented. My girls think we need to go see this movie tonight…but they might be waiting another whole week.
